Established in July 2005, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Shiraz University of Technology commenced its academic mission to foster engineering expertise and cutting-edge research. The faculty offers comprehensive programs across all tertiary educational levels:

• Undergraduate (B.Sc.): Mechanical Engineering
• Graduate (M.Sc.): Energy Conversion | Applied Design | Mechatronics
• Doctoral (Ph.D.): Energy Conversion | Applied Design

Bolstered by dedicated and distinguished faculty members, the department has grown substantially, solidifying its status as a prominent industrial engineering center in southern Iran.

To support advanced research initiatives, the faculty provides robust experimental and computational infrastructure, featuring a state-of-the-art High-Performance Computing (HPC) Center, a specialized Wind Tunnel Testing Facility, and an advanced Mechatronics Laboratory that empower scholars and engineers to conduct high-impact numerical and experimental investigations.
