The Faculty of Chemistry at Shiraz University of Technology was established concurrently with the university’s inception in 2004, initially operating as a department within the Faculty of Basic Sciences. With the recruitment of faculty members specializing in Physical Chemistry and Organic-Medicinal Chemistry, the department has continuously strived to enhance the quality of its educational and research endeavors. Within the university’s comprehensive development plan, the Faculty of Chemistry is designated to operate as an independent entity, offering a diverse array of specialized and interdisciplinary programs at the graduate level. The faculty officially commenced its graduate admissions in 2008 with the launch of the Master of Science (M.Sc.) program in Physical Chemistry.
